Editing
We will provide an editor to proofread and make suggestions for ways to enhance your work if necessary.
All changes must be approved by the author of the work before the work goes to press.
ISBN
All literary works must have an ISBN, or International Standard Book Number, in order to identify each unique work.
Latter Rain will acquire ISBNs for your work(s), and ensure that they are included appropriately within. A barcode will accompany the ISBN.
Layout
A professional graphic designer will place the text and images that you submit in the body of your work, according to industry specifications.
Flat rates will apply, and the work will not go to press without author approval of layout.
Printing/Binding
Printing and/or binding of your work will be done by a professional team of third-party printing staff and done to industry specifications.
You will have the choice of the highest quality papers, and bindings specific to your work and your choice.
Latter Rain does not provide printing services.
Design
A professional graphic designer will create a cover design for your work, based on your needs.
Submission of images and other files will be via email. If you already have a finished design, we will simply place it appropriately in the work.
Books in Print
When your work is assigned an ISBN, it will be logged in the Latter Rain Bowkerlink Log Book, which automatically places your work in Books in Print.
Pricing for this service will be included in your total package price.
Copyright
Your work must be copywritten and registered in the Library of Congress before you go any further in the process.
The price of the copyright, specific to the type of work you have, will be included in your total pricing if Latter Rain publishes your work.
Distribution
Latter Rain does not currently offer in-house distribution services, but we can advise you as to the steps you should take as a self-published author to get your work distributed. In partnering with Latter Rain, you will be eligible for immediate online selling via the site's online store.
